NASA ASTRONAUT MR. JACK FISHER, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
NASA Astronaut Jack Fischer was the keynote speaker for SAIMUN 2017. he remained at the school for 3 days prior to the event talking to students and teachers about his amazing trip into space from April – September 2017. It was a pleasure to have him at the school…what an inspiration!!!

Gemma Western and Georgia Southwell, visiting Teachers from Churchdown Village Infants School, Gloucester UK being Welcomed to SAI Angan with flowers. Their visit consisted of 6 days from December 26 – January 2, 2017. During their stay they conducted projects on outdoor play, teaching with rhymes and workshops with SAI Angan teachers on “How to engage a special needs child in the classroom”.

MR. CAI ZHIFENG – DEPUTY CONSUL GENERAL OF THE PEOPLES’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA IN KOKLATA
Mr. Cai Zhifeng – Deputy Consul General of People’s Republic of China in Kolkata visited the school in July and held a film festival. Talks about exchange visits in 2016 and 2016 were finalized and dates set. 25 SAI Students and 5 teachers will be visiting the People’s Republic of China in 2017 as part of a growing Chinese – Indo relations. Several other projects are in the making.

Mr. Jamie Fouss , U. S. Consulate, Section Chief – Hyderabad and Team visited the school on June 14, 2016. US Visa requirements and future collaborative programmes were the focal points of discussion. SAI International School, sends 20 – 30 students to US annually on 10 year multiple entry visas for the Global Immersion Programme – USA held in April and May.
